Some lakeside property could be up for grabs in Lunenburg county.
The Municipality of Lunenburg is hoping to acquire four acres in Broad Cove.
The owner of the land is currently unknown.
Trudy Payne, Director of Recreation Services, says their plan is simple.
“It is really to keep this property the way it currently is now, to be accessed by the public.”
The municipality has approved up to $10,000 to pay for surveying and legal expenses.
It is working with the province to determine ownership.
The process could take up to two years.
