The opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics goes tonight.
Rosie MacLellan will lead team Canada into Maracana Stadium as our country’s flag-bearer.
She won Canada’s only gold medal on the trampoline in the London games four years ago.
Team Canada has more than 300 Olympians strong in Brazil including nine Nova Scotians.
Among them are Graeme and Jacob Saunders of Chester.
The games run until August 21.
