Roughly 440 homes and businesses have their power back in Chester.
Nova Scotia Power says an outage occurred just before 12:30 p.m. this afternoon.
The cause was being blamed on a trees on the power line.
Roughly 250 people were affected by an outage in Bridgewater earlier, but it has since been restored.
It was due to damage to overhead equipment.
