It’s Going To Get Hotter

A Heat Warning has been issued for our region.

Environment and Climate Change Canada says Humidex values are expected to reach 36 degrees.

It says a very warm and humid airmass has settled over the region and will likely persist at least through Wednesday.

The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.

You’re asked to check on older family, friends and neighbours.

Make sure they are cool and drinking water.

Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
