Canada is off to the gold medal game at the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.
The Canadians shut out the Koreans 10-0 last night to clinch a spot in the championship game.
Canadian defenceman Rob Armstrong says it wasn’t as easy as it looked.
“We only beat them 2-0 last time,” he says, “but we knew how good they were so we came out hard today.”
The U.S. defeated Russia 2-1 earlier in the day, meaning they’ll face off against Canada.
Captain Josh Sweeney says their strategy isn’t complicated.
“Just score more,” he says. “You know it’s real simile. If we score more and we just bury the chances we have, then we won’t be in overtime in shootout situations.”
Korea and Russia will start the day off on Saturday.
They’ll be competing for bronze at 1 p.m.
The gold medal game is at 5 p.m.
