The South Shore is in the middle of a blizzard with high winds up to 80km/h and about 10 cms of snow on the ground already.
Environment Canada is warning of nasty driving conditions and people are being encouraged to stay at home if at all possible and avoid the roads.
That’s not only for safety reaosns but to allow snow plows and salt trucks do their business unimpeded.
