Acadia Broadcasting has reached an agreement to buy CJLS-The Wave in Yarmouth.
The announcement came this afternoon.
CJLS will join CKBW and Country 100.7 to provide local coverage to the entire South Shore.
Acadia President Jim MacMullin says they look forward to continuing their goal of focused, quality, South Shore radio that began with CKBW in 1947.
The company is still waiting for official approval from the CRTC.
The transaction is expected to be complete in early spring.
