Another Storm Could Hit The South Shore

Another winter storm could be coming our way Saturday.

On the heels of yesterday’s winter storm that dumped more than 20 cms on the South Shore, is another system tracking south of the province.

Environment Canada’s meteorologist, Bob Robichaud says there’s a system tracking along the eastearn seaboard.

“This new system is going to develop off the eastcoast of the U-S mostly likely late tomorrow. It will track up the eastern seaboard. The early prediction is for the system to track south of Nova Scotia. Right now, it’s looking like it will track close enough to bring precipitation into the western part of the province likely during the day Saturday,” said Robichaud.

“Right now, it’s looking mostly like rain but as the low pulls away, the rain will change to snow. It’s too early to tell how much right now. But, it looks like for the South Shore, it’s going to be mostly rain.”
