Another Winter Wallop For The South Shore

More messy weather is forecast for our area tomorrow.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the South Shore.

Meteorologist, Linda Libby, says a low pressure system developing along the eastern seaboard is picking up a mixed bag of precipitation.

“We’re showing possibly starting as some very light snow but going over to a period of freezing rain and then rain. Possibly back into some freezing rain again and then some lingering snow in behind it,” said Libby.

It’s still too early to tell, but Libby says the trend has been for systems to push offshore which could bring up to 15 cms of snow tomorrow.

The storm is expected to start around noon.
