Things are looking up for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the South Shore.
They’re more than half way to their $30,000 fundraising goal.
Executive Director Vanessa Mossop says if they don’t reach that goal they might not be able to continue helping children in the area.
“Are we able to support all of our programs? Do we need to cut back staff yet again? And then decide, with all those cut backs, are we still able to keep our doors open, or do we now have to close?”
A series of unfortunate events left the group in dire straits around the Christmas season.
They’ve now have10,000 left to raise.
