A man has died following an incident on Big Tancook Island in Lunenburg County.
Police aren’t releasing any details, but say that a 50 year-old man was killed by a firearm.
There is a report that the man was hunting at the time.
However, RCMP have not confirmed that.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was reported to RCMP around 1:20 this afternoon.

Police are on the Island conducting an investigation.
