Bridgewater Curling Rink Will Be Representing The Province

A Bridgewater curling rink will be representing the province this week.

They’re going head to head against the top club curlers in the country in Kingston at the Travelers Curling Club Championship.

Skip Nick Deagle and teammates Jason van Vonderen, Robert Phillips, and Ryan Sperry won the honour at provincials earlier in the year.

Deagle says they want to do their home town proud.

“It’s always nerve wracking – you want to represent your club, and you want to represent your province well, right,” he says.

“There will be some nerves that way, but we’re just going to go out and have some fun and see what happens.”

Deagle’s rink play their first match Monday, Nov. 20 after the opening ceremonies.

We’ll be following their progress throughout the week.
