They have hay for bodies and 40-gallon drums for heads.
It’s the snowmen of Bridgewater.
Six snowmen are going up around town today to be decorated by different organizations around town.
It’s only the second year it’s been held, and Mayor David Mitchell says they’re already thinking of expanding next season.
“Last year they were a huge hit, like, amazing,” he says.
“So people have now started to get excited.”
Mitchell says even though it’s a new event, they’re only in the second year, “it’s like I said, it’s a huge hit.”
Staff for the Town of Bridgewater, Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and students are some of this year’s decorators.
Mitchell says it’s a great way to kick-start the Christmas season.
