Bridgewater Tavern Changing Ownership, Rebranding Name

A Bridgewater tavern is changing hands for the second time in two years.

Bill Girvan and his wife Carrie, operators of Spirits on the Mersey in Liverpool, have taken over Kings Corner Bar and Grill.

General Manager, Brodie Chaisson, says they’re changing the look.

“The building will always be known as the tavern, it’s like an iconic place here. We just want to change it up a bit, have a new look and draw in some different clientele.”

The new operators have cut the space from 6,500 to 3,500 square feet.

They have changed existing features including relocating the dance floor and stage.

There will also be a VIP lounge with bottle service, a red carpet wall where people can get pictures taken and a new bar area.

A new name and re-opening is planned for later this month.
