Work is underway to add-on to the canteen facility at the LaHave Street Sportsfield in Bridgewater.
The town’s parks and rec department is providing the work, which started earlier this week.
The building, also used for storage, was in need of repairs.
A second story is being added to the building, which will have power.
The total cost of the project will be around $41,000.
It’s expected to take about three weeks to complete.
