Chandler Makes Cut At Canadian Women’s Amateur

A golfer from Chester has made the cut at the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship.

Allison Chandler, who plays out of Osprey Ridge Golf Course near Bridgewater, sits in a tie for 39th after two rounds.

She fired an opening round three over par, 73 and followed that up yesterday with a five over par, 75.

The 19 year-old Nova Scotia Amateur champion is the lone Maritimer to advance to the final two rounds.

Round three goes today from Cutten Fields in Guelph, Ontario.
