The Region of Queens has approved a pre-budget expense of $50,000 in the 2018-19 budget.
A funding request was made to the municipality by a local non-profit organization that has been successful in its effort to be host.
Mayor David Dagley says he is not at liberty to release details at this time, but council is confident the event will be met with great enthusiasm by the public.
An announcement will be made at noon on Wednesday August 2 at Queens Place Emera Centre.
