Changes on the way for Nova Scotia Power.
The province has announced a three year rate stability period starting in 2017.
They say the plan will remove the guess work for customers about how much they’ll pay for fuel each year.
The legislation also allows the UARB to set performance and reliability standards for the utility.
Failure to meet those standards could result in a $1 million fine.
