Chester Curling Team Searching For Medal Spot At National Juniors

A Chester curling team advanced to the next round at the National Junior Curling Championships.

Kristin Clarke’s team out of Chester stole points in the 10th and 11th ends to defeat Newfoundland and Labrador 9-8 in a tiebreaker game.

The Nova Scotia team advanced to the championship round.

They followed their emotional win with a 5-3 loss to Ontario.

The team has a 3-4 record but is only a couple wins shy of medal contention.

Nova Scotia will play the host team from B.C and Northern Ontario today.
