Conquerall Bank Fire Being Investigated As Arson

A fire that destroyed a home in Conquerall Bank is being investigated as arson.

The fire happened yesterday and fire departments from Conquerall Bank, Bridgewater, and Pleasantville all responded.

When Lunenburg District RCMP arrived, the house was fully engulfed.

Police say they learned the home was not being lived in at the time.

However, a witness reported two people were at the home at approximately 12:30 a.m. and the fire started just after they left.

Images were captured on surveillance cameras at a neighbouring home.

RCMP are asking for assistance from the public in identifying the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
