Thousands of motorcyclists from all across North America are in Digby this weekend for whats become a right of late-summer for bikers and a major event on the tourism must-see map! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the now-famous “Digby Wharf-Rat Rally”. Bikers from as far away as Switzerland and Germany are also there to take in the festivities that run until Sunday night. Billed as Canada’s largest, outdoor motorcycle rally, its a family fun affair too with many events geared toward non-bikers, the thousands of tourists who showup in Digby each year just to witness the event and take in the atmosphere. More than 30-thousand people: bikers, tourists and locals, are expected to attend.
