The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
Officials say there are seven cases are in Central Zone; four of those are in close contacts of previously reported cases and three are under investigation.
There is also one travel related case in Eastern Zone.
Officials say 27 active infections remain provincewide: three in Western Zone, three in Eastern Zone, and 21 in Central Zone.
One person is in ICU.
