A woman involved in a two-vehicle collision in Chelsea yesterday has died.
The 72-year-old woman was driving an SUV when it was struck by a car making a left turn.
The crash happened along Highway 210 shortly before three o’clock.
A 65-year-old man driving the car received minor injuries.
The woman was transported to South Shore Regional Hospital where she later died as a result of her injuries.
The highway was closed for part of the afternoon while RCMP investigated.
RCMP investigators are back on the scene again today.
No charges have been laid.
