Former Blue Jay Kelly Gruber Bringing Baseball Camp To Bridgewater

A World Series champion is making his way to Bridgewater this summer. Toronto Blue Jay alumni Kelly Gruber will hold his ‘Silver Slugger’ baseball camp at the Kinsmen Field. Gruber was part of the 1992 Blue Jays team that won the World Series over the Atlanta Braves. He says he looks forward to teaching kids. “The things that I learned it feels like a duty to pass on down to the kids and you know, we concentrate on foundation, we concentrate on basics of the game, keep it very simple.” Joining Gruber will be former Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expo Hall of Fame pitcher Bill ”Spaceman” Lee and major league outfielder Scott Bullett. The two-day camp for youth ages 7-12 will be held July 3-4 in Bridgewater. For more details on the camp, head to http://gruberbaseball.com/ .
