A former reporter with CKBW has passed away.
Ken Fleet died May 3 after a series of lengthy and difficult conditions.
He was 80 years-old.
Fleet worked with Michelin before spending several years working as a reporter for the radio station.
He was a 45 year member of the Bridgewater Curling Club as well as honorary member and past president.
Fleet was known for his coverage of local, national and worldwide curling events.
He was also a member of the LaHave Fire Department and a long-time member of the LaHave River Yacht Club.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 2-4 p.m at the Bridgewater Curling Club.
