Fox Point: Shoeless Suspect Sought by RCMP Following Break and Enter

A complaint about a suspicious vehicle has turned into an RCMP search for a shoeless suspect.

Mounties responded to the complaint on Lighthouse Road in Fox Point around 2:50 Thursday morning.

When they arrived, police discovered a break and enter in progress, and attempted to arrest two suspects inside the home.

One fled into the nearby ocean and was arrested a short time afterwards.

The second man fled into the woods, and while he was running, his footwear came off and was recovered by police.

The RCMP is looking for the man and are concerned for his safety, as he was not properly dressed.

He is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately five foot nine inches tall, one hundred forty pounds, brown hair and missing his shoes.

Anyone who may have information should contact RCMP at (902) 527-5555.
