The South Shore Major Bantam Lumberjacks are off to a good start at provincials.
Will Cook scored and added two assists to help the Lumberjacks to a 5-1 win over the Rangers in their opening game of the tournament Thursday in Pictou County.
Luke Woodworth and Ryan Hopkins both scored and had an assist.
Other goals were provided by Chad Meagher and Brennan Coleman.
The ‘Jacks are back in action at noon Friday against the Joneljim Cougars.
