He started volunteering while in his 20’s and hasn’t stopped since.
Frank Dunham is being celebrated for more than a half century spent making the community a better place.
Dunham has been nominated for the Provincial Volunteer Award.
He says he hadn’t given it much thought since his wife received the same recognition several years ago.
“Somebody approached me and said we’d like to nominate you. I was a little reluctant at first and said there are people doing far more than I am doing. But they said that they’d like to do so, so I went along with it,” said Dunham.
Dunham volunteers for the Kiwanis Club, Meals on Wheels and the Bridgewater Syrian Refugee Sponsorship Committee to name a few.
He’ll be honoured on April 4th in Halifax.
