Canada’s premiers are in PEI for a meeting under the Council of the Federation. Key agenda items include skilled training, aging population and trade competitiveness. Premier Stephen MacNeil says he looks forward to finding some common ground on those issues. Meanwhile, MacNeil will also reiterate his support for a national inquiry into murdered and missing aboriginal women. It comes as Nova Scotia prepares to host the 4th National Aboriginal Women’s Summit in October. The meetings wrap up Friday in Charlottetown.
