The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore is giving back to youth who have volunteered to help them.
The foundation is accepting applications for the Big Giver award.
They are looking for grade 10-12 students who have given time to fundraise or raise awareness of the foundation.
Development Officer, Alison Clements, says they want to recognize their effort.
“These people have taken time from their already busy lives to want to give back and make a difference in local health care. We want to connect with youth because they are going to be the next generation of volunteers and philanthropists along the South Shore.”
The application to nominate someone or to get further information can be found on the Health Services Foundation website.
The deadline is May 1.
