Preparations are underway for the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore’s biggest fundraiser.
The sixth annual CKBW/Country 100.7 Radiothon will be held February 12, 2016.
Managing Director, Arleen Stevens, says this year’s goal is to raise $150,000.
“We want to be able to bring urology services back to our community, who for the last many years have had to travel outside of Lunenburg county to have urology services.”
The money will help buy a procedure table, a scope cleaning unit and a scope transport container.
The radiothon has helped raise over $400,000 to provide new equipment to local hospitals.
