Tens of thousands of Nova Scotians are still without power this morning, and it might be as late as tomorrow before power is restored.
Winds blowing up to 100 km/h knocked down trees and poles and snapped lines across the province.
Nova Scotia Power says they have over 400 front line personnel and 250 support staff working to restore power and respond to customers.
Over 95,000 homes have seen their power return since it was knocked out last evening.
NS Power estimates power will be restored to most customers by noon tomorrow.
The utility is reminding people not to go near any downed power lines.
