Human Library Peddles People Instead Of Books

What if you could check out people like books from a library and spend time hearing the story of their life?

That’s exactly what Tony Lantz is trying to do with his Human Library project.

He hopes it will encourage people to step out of their comfort-zones and get to know people in their community.

“I have issues will large groups of people and sometimes even small groups of people, so, this sort of helps break down that initial barrier”

Lantz says they still have space for a few more “books” to sign up but he’d be happy to see people come out and spend 20 minutes with a stranger.

The first Human Library will take place Wednesday at the Art Happening space in Bridgewater starting at 7:30.
