Four options have been presented to open the review process for the Bridgewater and Park View family of schools.
One option is to move grade 10, 11 and 12 students from Bridgewater High to Park View, starting in 2017-18.
Bridgewater’s Michelle Crouse disagrees.
“I don’t think it’s a matter of Bridgewater High School students have to go to Park View and then decide what happens to Bridgewater. I think we can still maintain a high school within the town.”
Other options include moving grade nine students from feeder schools to Park View or keeping the status quo.
No decisions have been made.
Roughly 90 people attended the first of three public meetings on the issue.
More scenarios will be discussed during the next public meeting on February 25 at Park View Education Centre.
