Meteorologist: Spring Will Arrive On Time

The winter forecast is looking mild.

Meteorologist Jason Sheppard says we could still see a number of storms but warmer temperatures overall.

He says mother nature has been kinder this year.

“We haven’t seen the intensity of storms, or the frequency that we saw from last year,” he says.

It seems Shubenacadie Sam’s prediction of an early spring isn’t far off.

However, Sheppard isn’t impressed.

“He could be right, he could be wrong,” he says, “I wouldn’t put much stock in a…what is he? A chipmunk?”

He says we should start seeing warmer weather in time for the first day of spring on March 20.
