Gas prices have taken a plunge in Nova Scotia.
The province’s Utility and Review Board enacted the interrupter clause at midnight due to significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil.
Regular self-serve is 6.1 cents lower and is now selling for $1.13.8 cents a litre in Bridgewater.
Diesel also dropped 4.9 cents and sits at $1.13.5.
The new prices are expected to stay in place until the review board makes it’s usual weekly adjustment Thursday at midnight.
