Environment Canada has issued a heavy rainfall warning for tomorrow.
It’s forecasting 40 to 50 mm.
Meteorologist Stephen Hatt tells us the system will develop this evening east of Cape Hatteras then move quickly up the east coast overnight.
“Rain will begin very early Wednesday morning, around 6AM in the Yarmouth-Baccaro Point area, and then move very quickly across the province to be in Cape Breton by early afternoon.”
Hatt says the system is taking a familiar path.
“It’s going to develop this evening east of Cape Hatteras and then move fairly quickly up the east coast overnight and during the day on Wednesday.”
The system will also bring strong winds.
