Libraries And Museums Team Up

Your library card can now get you more than books and movies.

You can use it to get into museums all over Nova Scotia for free.

It’s all part of a program called ‘Culture Pass.’

Janet Maltby, from the Department of Communities and Culture, says the passes are ideal for people living on the South Shore.

“We have Ross Farm Museum, the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, so it’s a great way I think to find out about those sites close to your community,” she says, “or even to explore another region of the province.”

Passes can be downloaded onto your mobile device just like taking out an e-book and then used for up to a week.

The program will run until September 1.
