Liverpool Curling Club Looking To Promote Its History

The history of the Liverpool Curling Club is on the mind of its members.

Head of Membership, Jennifer Chase, says they’re reaching out to teams who may have won championship banners over the years.

She says they want to display them at the club to showcase their history.

“We’ve been around since 1935 so there is a lot of history out there and we have one banner that we have found. I’m hoping the community can help us if they happen to have them or know where they are, maybe we could get some more of our history up in the club and show it off.”

She says people who can help are encouraged to contact them through their facebook page or stop by the curling club.

Chase adds volunteers are busy painting parts of the club to give it a facelift and are hoping to attract new users and members.
