A Liverpool hairstylist is making changes to her salon to protect the environment.
Celeste Martin is part of a new recycle program that eliminates landfill waste and chemical dumps into the waterways.
Her salon will recycle everything from the hair that falls on the floor to the foils and aerosol cans.
“It’s important to me because I have three children. I want to sustain a healthier lifestyle for them and set an example,” said Martin.
Martin will even take aerosol cans purchased elsewhere and recycle them for customers while offering a discount as an added incentive.
