The South Shore Lumberjacks found themselves on the wrong side of a high scoring affair against the Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
A five goal first period helped the Crushers to a 10-5 win over the Lumberjacks.
A seven point night for Pictou’s Bradley Kennedy included four goals, earning him first star honours.
Samuel Cyr-Ledoux had a goal and two assists to lead the way for the Lumberjacks.
Chris Bamford, Tristan d’Entremont, Matt Paul and affiliated player Vincent Rioux also scored.
For Rioux, it’s his first MHL goal after being called up from the South Shore Mustangs.
South Shore travels to Yarmouth tonight to play the Mariners in their final regular season game.
