Lumberjacks, Bearcats Meet In Game 7

It all comes down to one game tonight for the South Shore Lumberjacks.

The Junior ‘A’ club will play their first game 7 in franchise history when they meet the Truro Bearcats.

Head Coach and General Manager, Brad Muise, says he’s not worried about trying to win on the road.

“We’ve been good on the road this year, real good, actually I think we probably have one of the better road records in the league but it’s just a sheet of ice and a sheet of ice presents an opportunity to make something happen.”

Game time is at 7 p.m in Truro.

Muise says the team has to stick to their game plan to have success.

“We’re at our best when we’re moving north and everything is going deep and making them stop and start. When we’re physically getting on the body and when we have puck possession, that’s when we’re really good. Keeping pucks below the dots, that’s our game.”

The winner will move on to play Pictou County in the division final.
