Renovations to the historic Lunenburg Academy are wrapping up.
The iconic building is soon to be transformed into a new cultural centre open to the public.
Mayor Rachel Bailey says they have a specific business plan.
“A gathering space where there will be lots of public spaces for the community both visiting and resident to get into the building and enjoy it and appreciate and make good use of it,” said Bailey.
The library is expected to move in by the end of 2016.
The town is in contract negotiations with other tenants set to move into the building this year.
