The tall ships have long sailed out of Lunenburg and preliminary numbers are in.
Over 15,000 people attended the festival which hosted 11 tall ships over three days.
Pamela Baltzer with the Board of Trade says the number is likely a bit low since counts were only completed for five hours each day when the ships were open for viewing.
She says there was lots of positive feedback on parking, shuttle services, available public washrooms and food vendors.
There were approximately 40 volunteers who ranged in age from 15-84 years old.
She says there were no major emergencies to report from police, fire or paramedics.
Baltzer adds, there were some waits for guests but no complaints.
The final results are expected to be released in the next two weeks.
Baltzer says 300 experience surveys were also collected and the Board of Trade will use the information to plan for the next tall ships event.
