Tax rates are staying the same in Lunenburg.
The town recently approved its 2016-17 budget.
The residential rate remains at $1.31 per $100 of assessment for a second straight year and $3.27 for businesses for a third consecutive year.
Mayor Rachel Bailey says she hopes people see it as a positive.
“Other prices are always going up and so the expenses that the town incurs in doing the town’s business increases as well.”

The town will have a capital budget of $2.3-million.
That money will go towards infrastructure projects like ventilation and odour control work at the Wastewater Treatment plant and replacing the Dufferin Street sewer main.
Other projects include upgrading town buildings, sidewalk renewals and street paving.
This year’s budget includes $6.1-million for operations.
