Police are investigating a single-car accident near Melbourne road in Yarmouth.
RCMP responded to the scene at around 6 o’clock this morning.
An 18-year-old man from Little River Harbour was found laying on the road with serious head injuries and his car driven into a nearby marsh.
The man was transported by LifeFlight to a Halifax hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for about 9 hours, but RCMP have tweeted it’s now open.
There’s been no word on the cause of the crash.
