A mixed bag of precipitation will make for a messy Saturday.
According to Environment Canada, Lunenburg and Queens Counties will get the worst of it in the South Shore.
Freezing rain and ice pellets this morning will turn to snow at times heavy this afternoon and isn’t expected to let up until midnight.
Yarmouth, Barrington and Shelburne will be a bit wetter with freezing drizzle turning to rain around lunch.
The afternoon could see some snow mixed in but it should begin to clear this evening.
The Emergency Management Office is reminding everyone to charge their devices while they can and, if possible, stay off the roads.
