Lunenburg will get a taste of the food truck craze this summer.
On August 27th, the Lunenburg Farmers Market joins with the Nova Scotia Food Truck Association for an evening of local music, a cash bar and food truck cuisine.
The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is kicking in $375 to help bring the night together at the Lunenburg Community Centre.
It’s part of the municipality’s initiative to enhance the agriculture and creative economies.
The Rural Arts and Life Tour Association will also receive $625 to hold a workshop with the community and its operators this June.
The workshop will be held at the Visitor Information Centre in Blockhouse on June 28th.
The municipality hands out grants each year to help promote the area.
