Municipality Of Barrington Seeks Public Input On 2018-2019 Budget

Residents of the Municipality of Barrington are being asked for their input on the 2018-2019 budget.

An informal workshop meeting is taking place Tuesday night at 7 at the council chambers on Highway 3 in Barrington Passage.

CAO Rob Frost says the evening will be in an informal workshop setting.

“We’ll do a little discussion about some of the things that we have to look at when we’re putting together a budget then we’ll get feedback from citizens.”

Council will be in attendance, and say they want to hear from any and all residents who have ideas as they try to set a positive path forward for the future.

Frost says the evening will be about hearing from citizens, and the budget is only in preliminary stages.

He says there have been discussions on the status of some facilities in the municipality, but nothing has been decided.
