Someone new will be holding the purse strings in the Municipality of Chester.
Nancy Dove has been selected as the new director of finance.
She was chosen out of more than 50 applicants to take over the position early next month.
According to the municipality, she has more than two decades of experience working in both the public and private sector.
Dove says she’s looking forward to working with municipal staff and getting involved with the community.
The current director is expected to stay on until the end of October to help make a smooth transition.
